Interparking cooperates again with RentaLite for LED lighting in car park Museumkwartier
In the historic heart of The Hague Downtown, between the Parliament and the US Embassy, one of the most complex underground construction projects is being realized in the Netherlands.
This development of the Develop Combination PTV, a collaboration between SENS real estate and Dura Vermeer Infra is being build since July 2015 by Dura Vermeer Concrete and Hydraulic Engineering. Interparking the Netherlands is the future owner of the garage. For The Hague this development offers the opportunity to give the area around the tournament field, the gateway to the city, a quality boost.
With Interparking as future parking operator the car park will be the most advanced car park in the Netherlands so far with tools such as an internal parking guidance system, online booking, full-free signaling per parking spot, energy saving LED lighting and Eco parking. With Eco Parking, visitors with an energy label A or a 100% electric car, get reduced parking fees. These techniques are also used in the car park of the Market Hall in Rotterdam. This car park recently won the European Parking Association’s award for the best new car park in Europe.
Rentalite developed a beautiful LED Line system, the Premium Power interval Line, that has been installed in the Museumkwartier parking garage in the Hague. The aluminum line is equipped with 35W and 25W LED fixtures to achieve an average of 100 lux in the parking garage with minimum power consumption per square meter. The total length of all aluminum LED lines is 1100 meters with 260 fixtures installed in the line. In addition to the fixtures installed in the line there are 31 stand alone fixtures installed.
Rentalite applied the newest LED chips in the fixtures, making the efficiency of the lighting optimal. The net lumen per watt of the fixtures applied is 140, which is the most energy efficient technology at the moment.
The energy and CO2 savings, due to the application of Rentalite’s LED lighting in combination with switching the LED lights by motion sensors, will be about 60% compared to conventional lighting.
